The Golden Rule (Largest Port Rule): Do not calculate CFM based on room size. Instead, size your collector for your largest single machine's dust port diameter. The 4-Inch Rule: A standard 4-inch dust port requires a minimum of 350 to 450 CFM of actual airflow.
