How the DD1200 Desiccant Dehumidifier Works
- Moist air enters the unit as process air.
- The air passes through a rotating silica gel desiccant rotor.
- The rotor absorbs moisture from the air.
- The dry air exits the system and returns to the environment.
- A secondary airflow called regeneration air is heated by PTC heaters.
- This heated air removes the moisture stored in the rotor.
- The moist regeneration air is then exhausted outside the space being dried.
- The rotor slowly rotates to maintain continuous drying performance.
