How the Ebac CD425-D Dehumidifier Works
- Air is drawn into the unit by a high capacity fan.
- The air passes over a cold evaporator coil.
- Moisture condenses from the air as it cools.
- Collected water drains into the condensate tray.
- The condensate is removed through the drain line or pump.
- The air then passes across the condenser coil.
- The air is reheated and discharged back into the room warmer and significantly drier.
- The defrost system automatically removes frost buildup when necessary.
- The humidistat cycles the unit on and off to maintain the desired humidity level.
