Maintenance & Care Guide

Simple maintenance steps to keep your dust collector performing at its best.

Filter Maintenance

Clean the filter every time you change the collection bag and whenever suction power decreases. Tap all sides of the filter bag to release collected dust into the collection bag below. Replace the filter when it can no longer be cleaned satisfactorily or shows any signs of damage.

Collection Bag Maintenance

Empty the collection bag when contents reach approximately 6 inches below the attachment edge. Never operate with an overfilled bag as this reduces suction efficiency. Replace damaged bags immediately to maintain proper dust collection. Always switch off the dust collector completely before changing bags.

Fan Wheel & Interior Cleaning

Clean resin residue and chips from the impeller weekly, or sooner if you notice decreased suction or vibration. Remove all chips and dust from the unit interior on a weekly basis by removing both filter and collection bags to access the interior. Keep motor cooling fins clear of debris to prevent overheating.

Safety Guidelines

Before performing any maintenance, always switch off the machine and secure it against accidental startup. Disconnect from power source when accessing internal components. All electrical work must be performed by qualified personnel only. Never operate the unit with damaged or missing safety guards.
